No. A valid Aadhaar card, Voter ID or Passport (any one) is accepted as ID proof at the Sunauli border.
What is the best time to visit Nepal?+
October to April is ideal — clear mountain views and pleasant weather. Avoid heavy monsoon (July–August) if you want guaranteed Himalayan sightings.
